BSF striker Pawan Kumar and PH Boy Singh created a couple of scoring opportunities by dribbling past the Punjab Police defenders, but poor shots taken by the BSF striker could not create the charm in the own campus.

With the passage of time, Punjab Police started to create chances through medio Harjinder Singh and young striker Jaswinder Singh.
