XYIENCE, the original great tasting, zero calorie energy beverage, will be a sponsor and the official energy drink of the 2017 International Champions Cup (ICC) presented by Heineken, the premier pre-season football tournament featuring Europe’s most celebrated clubs and players. The tournament runs from July 19 – 30, and includes 12 matches played across 11 U.S. cities.
As part of the sponsorship, XYIENCE will send one winner and a guest to see world football powers Real Madrid C.F. and FC Barcelona face off in the tournament’s flagship match. This famous rivalry, known as “El Clásico,” is regarded as one the biggest in world sports and the game will mark the first-ever meeting of these teams in North America. The match takes place July 29 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, FL.
Fans can enter the contest by posting a photo or video to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with hashtag #XYIENCESOCCER telling XYIENCE why they should win. As a sponsor, XYIENCE will also be featured on TV-visible LED field signage and video board commercials at each of the 12 matches which will be broadcast on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes. XYIENCE will also implement on-site sampling at select matches.
