Amine Gouiri secured France a second straight win at the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017 on Wednesday. Gouiri scored both goals for the French side in their 2-1 victory over Japan in Group E.

Honduras claimed their biggest win at a FIFA U-17 World Cup as the Central Americans scored an emphatic 5-0 victory over New Caledonia in the second Group E match of the day played at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati.

England impressed in Group F with a 3-2 win against Mexico at the Saltlake Stadium in Kolkata, while Mohammed Dawood scored a goal in each half to hand Iraq a 3-0 win against Chile.

The FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017 is gearing up for the final group stage matches which will kick-off with exciting matches in Group A and Group B on Thursday. Mali v New Zealand (17.00 IST / New Delhi) and Turkey v Paraguay (17.00 IST / Navi Mumbai) in Group B will be the first matches of the day, while Group A complete the D-Day at 20.00 IST with Ghana v India (New Delhi) and USA v Colombia (Navi Mumbai).
