Argentinian football legend Diego Armando Maradona arrived in Kolkata on Sunday night on a three day visit. The 1986 FIFA World Cup winning captain landed in Kolkata from Dubai.
Maradona is in the City of Joy to play a charity football match vs a Sourav Ganguly Allstar Team, besides meeting some cancer-affected patients, laying the foundation stone of a Diego Maradona statue and various sponsors commitments.
The charity match will be played in Barasat on December 12.
