The names of the 10 school teams to play in the fifth edition of the FC Bayern Youth Cup – India to be played in February 2018 have been announced by adidas India.

Modern School, Mira Model School will participate from Delhi; Campion School, St Lawrence from Mumbai; Army Public School and Frank Anthony Public School from Bengaluru; St.Anthony’s School and Techno India from North East; Future Hope School and La Martiniere for Boys from Kolkata.

The winning team from the National Finals will win represent India in the FC Bayern Youth Cup World Finals at the Allianz Arena in Munich in May 2018.

The winning school team will also get a chance to watch a Bundesliga match at the iconic home venue of record Bundesliga champions FC Bayern Munich.

Hasan Salihamidzic, Sporting Director of FC Bayern Munich, said in a statement, “The FC Bayern Youth Cup is a great platform for young players from all over the world to showcase their talent. The chance to win a trip to Munich and take part in a five-day training camp with FC Bayern is unique.”

“The young players from India will meet FC Bayern First team players, visit the last Bundesliga match and play the final tournament just one day after in the Allianz Arena,” Salihamidzic added.
