A brilliant hattrick from Aman Kumar helped Dempo Sports Club score a crushing 8-0 win over Sporting Clube de Goa in the U-13 Youth I-League match played at Ella Ground Old Goa here on Saturday.

Dempo SC coach Remus Gomes started with the same line up that won 5-1 against FC Goa last week. The goal fest began as early as the fifth minute when Sherwin Abranches played Dwayne Neto on the left who cut the ball back in for Aman Kumar, allowing him the simplest of tap ins.

Ten minutes later Aman Kumar got his name on the score sheet for the second time after outfoxing the Sporting defence with a brilliant one two with Shreyash Naik.

Aman Kumar then completed his hat trick inside 21 minutes after Rohit Shirodkar played him a delightful ball from the right.

Dempo went 4-0 up just before the break when Shreyash Naik dribbled past a couple of defenders and slammed the ball past the Sporting keeper.

After the change of ends the goal spree continued with Sporting Clube de Goa defender Teshwin Cunha scoring an own goal.

Shreyash Naik scored his second of the evening in the 50th minute after another brilliant cross from Dwayne Neto.

After two brilliant assists, Dwayne Neto finally found his scoring boots in the 57th minute when his goal bound shot from outside the box took a deflection and ended up in the back of the net.

Four minutes before the final whistle Dempo defender Shivam Pandey completed the rout scoring Dempo’s eighth goal of the evening. Dempo SC now play Churchill Brothers in their final group game.
