Kerala Blasters sign Indian international Halicharan Narzary

Kerala Blasters FC have signed Indian forward Halicharan Narzary who played for NorthEast United FC in the last three Hero Indian Super League (ISL) seasons.

Halicharan, who hails from Assam, has represented India in international tournaments in U-19 category and U-23 category and also in the senior team. He has also played for clubs like Pailan Arrows, Dempo, FC Goa, DSK Shivajians and Northeast United FC. Narzary plays as a wide forward on the left flank. He has 17 appearances and a goal to his name with the Indian national team.

Varun Tripuraneni, CEO of Kerala Blasters, said, “We are delighted that Halicharan Narzary has joined us. With Sandhesh Jhinghan and Anas Edathodiga, the best defenders in Indian team on our side, Halicharan is another addition from the national team that will further strengthen the Kerala Blasters team this year. He is an exciting young talent and with David James at the helm, we are hopeful to witness some great performance from Halicharan in the upcoming season.“
