I-League side Gokulam Kerala FC have announced the signing of local Kerala striker V.P. Suhair for the 2018/19 season.

25 year old Palakkad-born V.P. Suhair made a mark for himself with Calicut University besides representing his home state of Kerala in the Santosh Trophy and National Games.

After having played for Gokulam Kerala FC, when they were not an I-League side, Suhair signed for Kolkata giants East Bengal Club last season after impressing the club management in trials.

Suhair played a good Calcutta Football League’s Premier Division ‘A’ to help East Bengal lift the CFL club, but then suffered an injury which kept him out of the I-League.

For the 2018 Super Cup and the 2018 Kerala Football League, Suhair signed for Gokulam Kerala FC and became an integral part of the team that the club offered him a permanent contract for the 2018/19 season.
