NEROCA FC extend contract of midfielder Saran Singh

I-League runners-up NEROCA FC have extended the contract of defensive midfielder Thangjam Saran Singh for the 2018/19 season.

31 year old experienced Thangjam Saran Singh from Manipur made his professional debut for Churchill Brothers SC in 2007 after joining them from Food Corporation of India, Assam. After two seasons in Goa, Saran joined JCT but only after a year he returned to Goa to win the I-League title, Federation Cup and others with the Red Machines.

In 2014, Saran Singh joined Salgaocar FC and scored the winner for the Greens in the Durand Cup final. Thereafter he was twice signed by Mumbai City FC in 2015 and 2016 as a replacement player for an injured players.

Then in 2017, Saran Singh returned to his home state to join I-league promoted NEROCA FC and had a good season with them, which led the club to extend his contract.
