Borussia Dortmund will kick-off their preparations for the 2018/19 season at the club premises on July 7.

New head coach Lucien Favre and his team will take on Austrian club FK Austria Wien on July 13, before they travel to the United States for a eight-day tour.

The Bundesliga side will face Manchester City FC (July 21, Soldier Field, Chicago), Liverpool FC (July 22, Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte) and SL Benfica (July 26, Heinz Field, Pittsburgh) in the International Champions Cup (ICC), which will take place in various parts of the United States.

Dortmund will then conduct a pre-season training camp in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland from August 1 to 8, which will include two friendly matches against Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes (August 3) and last year’s Serie A runners-up SSC Napoli (August 7).

Borussia Dortmund will conclude their pre-season with a season opening fan fest at the Signal Iduna Park on August 11 and a friendly match against SS Lazio at the Stadion Essen on August 12.
