FC Barcelona had one of its most memorable seasons in team history in 2005-2006. The club repeated its victories in both La Liga and the Supercopa de España from the year before, Ronaldinho brought opposing crowds to their feet (yes, opposing crowds) with his dazzling footwork and the team won its first European title in more than a decade. Barça’s mix of Spanish star power and international talent dared other clubs to keep pace. It was exciting to watch. Most importantly, it won matches too.

The 2018-19 kits from Catalonia’s storied club harken back to that electric style of play from the 2005-06 season in the form of a bold yellow away kit.

“This year, we are celebrating 20 years of working with FC Barcelona,” says Pete Hoppins, Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director. “We wanted to mark it by paying tribute to one of the most memorable shirts we have produced for them.”

Just as recognizable as the club’s regal home kits throughout history are its bold away colors. For the 2018-2019 season, the away kit comes in a luminous Volt colorway. The shorts and socks also come in Volt, punctuated by flashes of Barça red and blue.

The shirt is embellished with blue and red in speed blur graphics on the sleeves, while the neck is trimmed with blue.
