The India U-16 National Team, currently on a week-long exposure tour in Istanbul, will play a friendly game with Cameroon U-16 National side on Wednesday, August 22.

India were scheduled to play Turkey on Wednesday. However, the game has now been deferred.

India played its first friendly match on the tour against AFC U-16 Championship qualified team Oman on Monday, 20th August 2018, losing 1-2.

Acting on it All India Football Federation (AIFF) immediately contacted Cameroon Football Federation with an offer to play a friendly game.

The Cameroon U-16 national side has been camping at Istanbul in preparation for their upcoming AFCON U-17 competition.

AIFF sincerely thanks the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT Fédération Camerounaise de Football), and are happy to confirm that their U-16 boys will now be playing the recently crowned UNIFFAC Cup champions Cameroon side in Kartepe on Wednesday.
