The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has received enthusiastic response from potential Baby League operators from across the country. AIFF has received applications from 23 different league operators around the country to organize 98 different leagues across different age categories. These include private individuals, schools, stand alone academies, professional clubs, district football associations and state football associations.

This initiative could give an opportunity to around 6,000 children between the ages of 4 and 13 to engage with the game over a period of at least three months. This will also introduce them to the experience of participating in a competitive league environment for a prolonged period.
