East Bengal win 4-1 against UiTM FC in pre-season friendly in Malaysia

Kolkata giants East Bengal FC made a winning start to their pre-season camp for the upcoming 2018/19 I-League with a 4-1 win over Malaysian Premier League sides UiTM FC on Sunday, October 7.

The goals for the red and gold against Universiti Teknologi MARA FC were scored by youngster Yami Longvah, new Mexican striker Enrique Esqueda, Keralite striker Jobby Justin and influential Syrian midfielder Mahmoud Al Amna.

East Bengal had reached the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur on Thursday for their pre-season which is taking place at the MSN Sports Complex – Setiawangsa Sports Complex, Kuala Lumpur from October 4 to 22.

East Bengal next play in Kuala Lumpur against Malaysian Premier League side UKMFC on Wednesday, October 10.

The team could be playing a few more practice matches which will be announced as and when confirmed by the team management.

East Bengal will return to Kolkata on October 22 late night.
