Two time champions Chanmari FC grabbed the final semifinal slot of MPL-7 with a 1-0 victory over Aizawl FC on Saturday evening.

A late goal from Laldampuia sealed their fate as they moved above Electric Veng FC with 21 points from 14 games.

An inferior head-to-head record against Mizoram Police FC will see the battle league leaders Chhinga Veng FC in the semi-finals.

Two time champions Aizawl FC will take on Mizoram Police FC in the other semi-final.

Chhinga Veng FC and Aizawl FC are yet to play their final league fixture. The result will not have an impact on the table as Chhinga Veng has already mounted as unassailabe lead.
