Arjen Robben has confirmed that this ongoing 2018/19 season will be his final season at Bundesliga giants FC Bayern Munich.

The 34 year old Netherlands legend made the announcement at the sidelines of a visit to FC Bayern fan club “Tegernseer Tal” today.

“This is my final season at FC Bayern. It has been ten wonderful years. But it’s time now,” Robben told Omnisport at the fan club meeting.

Robben joined Bayern in August 2009 from Real Madrid and has emerged as one of the fan favourites since then. He has won seven Bundesliga titles and four DFB-Pokal (German Cup) trophies with Bayern till now, while the victorious 2013 UEFA Champions League final will be certainly remembered as the highlight of his trophy-laden career at the German club. Robben scored the 89th-minute winner to down Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in the all-German final at Wembley.
