Ramhlun North FC beat Kanan FC to to keep MPL status

Ramhlun North FC retained their place for the new season of the Mizoram Premier League (MPL) next year with a 2-1 victory over Kanan FC in the second-leg of the MPL Playoff.

Second half goals from Lalliansanga and Lalnunzira were enough to seal victory yesterday at the AR Lammual as Kanan FC failed to spark a comeback despite a late penalty goal from C. Lalmuanpuia.

Ramhlun North FC had already came out on top in the first-leg on December 4 with a 3-1 victory. They were placed seventh in the league season of MPL-7.
