Kolkata giants East Bengal FC announced that it has signed attacking Spanish midfielder Antonio Rodríguez Dovale for the remainder of the ongoing 2018/19 season.

Antonio Rodríguez Dovale, popularly known as Toni, will be on loan to East Bengal from his current club Nea Salaminas Famagusta FC, which is amongst the top clubs in the Cyprus top tier.

Toni also has the experience of playing in Indian Super League having represented Bengaluru FC in the last season. He comes with a vast professional experience having played for reputed LaLiga clubs like Rayo Vallecano, CD Leganes, CD Lugo, Celta de Vigo, Kansas, and SD Huesca besides the youth teams of Celta de Vigo and FC Barcelona.

Toni replaces Mahmoud Al Amna who had been officially released by East Bengal on mutually agreed terms earlier in the day.
