“I hope we have a little bit lucky”, said Lothar Matthäus during his presentation at the New York Metro Stars. Such football slogans show the sympathetic, human side of the stars, which not only makes them smile, but also a multitude of fans. This was the trigger for joint projects of the non-profit association Deutscher Fußball Botschafter e.V. (German Football Ambassador) and the Heldengalerie, in which 11 football personalities and selected slogans are depicted in a caricature. The French artist Régis Chambion draws a limited edition of 22 editions per picture on high quality canvases. The project also supports social projects in the football environment.
As the first hero gallery protagonist, they introduce the national record player Lothar Matthäus. He was one of the best players in the world in the 1990s and is still one of the greatest figures in football history. Today, he supports the moderators of Sky Sport with his expertise and is a sought-after TV expert and brand ambassador.
Pre-orders as well as the purchase of the pictures are now possible and can be purchased on the website of the Heldengalerie under: www.heldengalerie.de/lothar-matthaeus.
