The Mizoram Football Association (MFA) will kickoff it’s inaugural MFA Women’s Football League from February 2019.
The MFA Executive Committee had already given the green light for the league during the 2018/19 season. Due to scheduling conflicts with other tournaments and availability of grounds, the league had to wait until the turn of 2019. The league will now start from February 19, 2019.
The MFA Women’s League Board will conjure up mandatory regulations for the league. The league will carry a blueprint to promote women footballers throughout the state.
