Germany Women’s international Lena Goessling will carry out the Men’s DFB-Pokal (German Cup) semifinal draw at the German Football Museum (Deutsches Fußballmuseum) this Sunday.

The 33 year old experienced midfielder is currently undergoing training at the Hotel-Residence Klosterpforte in Marienfeld as the national team gear up face Sweden and Japan in two high-profile international friendlies. The draw in Dortmund will be a pleasant diversion for the VfL Wolfsburg star.

German FA (DFB Deutscher Fußball-Bund) Vice President Peter Frymuth will oversee the proceedings of the draw ceremony.

The semifinalists will be made up of the winners from following DFB-Pokal quarterfinal matches taking place today and tomorrow:
SC Paderborn 07 vs Hamburger SV
FC Augsburg vs RB Leipzig
FC Bayern Munich vs 1. FC Heidenheim
FC Schalke 04 vs SV Werder Bremen

The draw will be broadcasted live on national television channel ARD as part of their “Sportschau” live show (18:00 CET) and Jessy Wellmer will be the host.

The semifinals are scheduled to take place on April 23 and 24, while the final would be played at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on May 25.
