The recipient of 2019 Shan-e-Mohammedan award Mr. Victor Amalraj has arrived in Kolkata earlier this morning.

The Shan-e-Mohammedan is the Lifetime Achievement Award of Mohammedan Sporting Club, which is awarded annually to respect and laud indispensable contribution of football players to the club.

“It’s an incredible feeling. I thank Mohammedan Sorting Club for what they have done in making this possible. I am happy to spend six years in Mohammedan Sporting Club and was able to contribute in a way worthy of this honour. I wish this award will serve as an inspiration to the future generation to do their best for the club.” Mr. Amalraj told mohammedansportingindia.com.

Mr. Amalraj will be conferred with the Shan-E-Mohammedan award tomorrow at Club Ground during it’s annual Dawat-e-Iftar.

Mr. Amalraj’s elder sibling lt. John Victor was also conferred with the Shan-e-Mohammedan award in 2012.
