Purbo Medinipur Fighters fail to put up a fight against Mohammedan

Mohammedan Sporting Club trounced Purbo Medinipur Fighters 4-1 in their Zee Bangla Football League (U-19) encounter on Tuesday at Mohun Bagan Ground.

Surajuddin Munshi opened the scoring in the 6th minute before Mainak Dey doubled the lead in the 42nd minute. Then Sanjib Ghosh (48th and 56th) scored a brace to secure full three for the Young Panthers. Nonetheless, Firdous Rahman pulled a goal back for Medinipur in the 58th minute.

Mohammedan Sporting, who now have 6 points from 3 matches, will take on Birbhum Nobles in their last Group A match on June 15, 2019.
