Subrata Bhattacharya names Mohammedan Sporting squad for Durand Cup

Mohammedan Sporting Club head coach Subrata Bhattacharya has announced his squad to compete in the 129th Durand Cup commencing from August 2.

The Durand Cup, the world’s third oldest football tournament, takes place in Kolkata for the first time from August 2 to 24. Mohammedan Sporting have been drawn in Group B where they will face the Indian Navy, ATK and Mohun Bagan.

The two-time winners will open their tournament against rivals Mohun Bagan on August 2 at the Saltlake Stadium followed by the Indian Navy at the Mohun Bagan Ground on August 10. The Black Panthers will return to the Saltlake Stadium for their last round-robin match against ATK on August 16.
