DFB announce schedules for German Women’s Cup quarterfinals

The German FA, Deutscher Fußball-Bund (DFB), has announced new schedules for the postponed DFB-Pokal der Frauen (Women’s Cup) quarterfinal matches. The quarterfinal matches were originally scheduled to take place on April 18/19, but had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen will play host to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on Tuesday, June 2. The match will kick-off at 14:00 CET.

The remaining three matches will be played on Wednesday, June 3 with two Women’s Bundesliga 2 sides hoping to pull a surprise against teams from the top tier, the FLYERALARM Frauen-Bundesliga (FLYERALARM Women’s Bundesliga). DSC Arminia Bielefeld will take on SC Sand at their EDIMEDIEN-ARENA (13:00 CET), while FSV Gütersloh 2009 face an uphill task against defending champions VfL Wolfsburg at the Tönnies-Arena (19:00 CET).

Turbine Potsdam and SGS Essen are scheduled to clash in another exciting cup game, which is scheduled to kick-off at 14:00 CET.

The semifinals will be played on June 10/11 and the final scheduled to place in Cologne on July 4.
