The kids took part in various activities organised by 61 entities in 12 states across the country. In Tamil Nadu, 22 were organised — the highest number of activities in any particular state.

Isac Doru, Technical Director, AIFF, stated: “During this exceptional time in India and all over the world we have been facing an intensive challenge to our feelings, thoughts and actions. These Grassroots activities organized under different forms and perspectives show the passion and love for sports in general and football in particular across the country.”

“Through these online activities, AIFF is trying to be a real partner of the mental and psychological development of these children and raise the social awareness of incorporating football in their daily life,” Doru added.
