German DFB Women’s Cup semifinal fixtures announced

DFB-Pokal Frauen

The semifinal draw for the German DFB Women’s Cup (DFB-Pokal der Frauen) has been carried out by former Germany WNT star Renate Lingor earlier this week. The draw ceremony was streamed live on the German FA’s online tv channel DFB TV.

The quarterfinal matches were originally scheduled to take place on April 18/19, but had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The rescheduled quarterfinal matches will be played on June 2/3, while the semifinal are set to take place on June 10/11.

DSC Arminia Bielefeld and FSV Gütersloh 2009 are the two last remaining 2nd Division (2. Frauen-Bundesliga) sides in the competition, while the other six teams belong to the top tier of German Women’s club football, the FLYERALARM Women’s Bundesliga (FLYERALARM Frauen-Bundesliga).
