DSC Arminia Bielefeld and their new kit partner Macron have revealed new home, away and third kits for the forthcoming 2020-21 Bundesliga season. Both sides dipped into the past during the design process and created three individual jerseys which reflects the long history and tradition of the club.

For the first time in club history, Arminia will be wearing black jerseys during their home games at the SchücoArena. The club used to play in white or blue home jerseys in the past. The black home jersey has a v-neck collar with white and blue finishing. A white and blue diagonal band runs across the front of the jersey to remember a sash from the founding years more than 115 years ago, while the backneck label is personalised with the foundation year of the club: 1905. A further detail is found in the tape running along the inside of the jersey which displays the logo of the club and the slogan “Sportclub der Ostwestfalen” (“Sports club of the East Westphalians”). The home kit is completed by black shorts and socks.

The away kit is white and follows the same design of the home kit, with a v-neck collar finished in blue and black and a diagonal band across the front in blue and black as well. White shorts and socks complete Arminia’s away look.

The third kit is orange in colour and has a polo collar. The sleeves are finished in white rib-knit and two diagonal bands in light orange run across the front. On all the jerseys the Macron Hero logo sits on the right side of the chest while the club logo sits on the left over the heart. The orange kit pays tribute to the kit which Arminia Bielefeld used during their first ever football match in 1905. The club had to borrow orange jerseys from the Netherlands for their first match, since their own jerseys featuring the club colours black, white and blue didn’t arrive in time for the game.

All three jerseys feature the foundation year of the club and the city coat of arms on the backneck, besides the club logo and slogan “Sportclub der Ostwestfalen” in the tape running along the inside of the jersey.

The new Macron kits will be worn by all Arminia Bielefeld teams including the men’s first team, women’s first team and the various boy’s and girl’s age-group teams.
