FLYERALARM Women’s Bundesliga side 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam will miss the services of their latest signing Lena Uebach due to a knee injury.

Uebach, who joined Potsdam this summer from league rivals Bayer 04 Leverkusen, injured her left knee some time ago and received a treatment at her previous club.

But the injury returned during Potsdam’s pre-season training camp in Austria and team doctor Dr. Gieschen assessed that a surgery would be the only solution.

The surgery was been successfully completed by the meantime and the Germany U-20 international will miss several matchdays of the 2020-21 season.
