Narendra Modi to interact with women’s footballer Afshan Ashiq at Fit India Dialogue

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will interact with a number of fitness influencers including women’s footballer Afshan Ashiq during a nationwide online session known as the Fit India Dialogue, on Thursday, September 24, 2020.

Goalkeeper Afshan Ashiq will also be joined by Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, two-time Paralympic gold medallist (2004 and 2016) javelin thrower Devendra Jhajharia, health and fitness influencer Milind Soman, and many more.

This interaction, which is set to take place online will see participants share their own stories and their take on how they maintain fitness along their journey. Prime Minister Modi will also share his own take on health and fitness with the aforementioned influencers.

This online dialogue will see a conversation on nutrition, wellness, and other facets of fitness as well, as fitness has become an important aspect of life in times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
