Mohammedan Sporting Club midfielder Jamal Bhuyan said he is aware that playing for the Black Panthers means he must be prepared to thrive under pressure.

“You need to accept the pressure and you need to manage the pressure and exploit the pressure with the positive. I am comfortable in the pressure because it motivates me,” said Jamal.

“I love new challenges and it’s a very nice challenge for me to come to Mohammedan Sporting . The club’s history fascinates me. I also wanted a new experience, in a new country. It will be an interesting experience for me. There will be a lot of expectations on me and I hope to deliver,” he added.

Mohammedan Sporting General Secretary Sk. Wasim Akram said Jamal is a “champion” player who can help the club become champions.

“I’m happy that Mohammedan Sporting and Wasim (Akram) Bhai has confidence in me and that an important thing a player should have. Now I have only one way for returning their trust; squeeze all my energies to deliver my best for the team.” Jamal said

The Bangladesh national team skipper also said this opportunity would certainly open doors for other footballers from Bangladesh.
