DFB-Pokal draw for men’s Round of 16 and women’s quarter-finals held on Sunday

The draw for the Men’s DFB-Pokal Round of 16 and Women’s DFB-Pokal quarter-finals were held on Sunday evening in Cologne as part of the ARD Sportschau live tv broadcast.

The draw was carried out by former Germany ski jumping star and Olympic gold medalist Sven Hannawald, while DFB Vice President Peter Frymuth acted as the observer.

Three Round of 16 matches of the women’s competition are yet to be played as the fixtures were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The postponed men’s Round 2 matches involving Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen will be played this month.

The men’s Round of 16 matches will take place on February 2/3 and the women’s quarter-final matches will be held on March 20/21.
