Pedro Manzi is eager to face his former team on Tuesday when Mohammedan Sporting Club battle Chennai City FC in a crucial Hero I-League fixture at Kalyani Municipal Stadium.

“I am excited to play against Chennai City and as a footballer, it is always great to play against your former team. I have played under coach Satyasagara (in Chennai City) and I know he likes his team to play attacking football. Chennai has many players that have played with me. It will be a tough game, they are quite similar to us in the way they play, but we are going to give our best and try to take 3 points home.” Manzi said.

The Spaniard also mentioned that the most important thing is to play a collective block and not focus on individualities. According to Manzi they will attack together and defend together to defeat Chennai City.

“We need to focus on the duties our coach gives us, either in attacking or defending situations. We have to work together. If we are able to do this according to our plan, we can get a positive result. The first and foremost thing is to improve as a team and as an individual. Results of a match always matter but we must focus on our performance primarily,” he added.
