The jersey launch ceremony of the upcoming 2020/21 Odisha Women’s League was held today, February 27 at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.

Vishal Kumar Dev, (Principal Secretary, Sports and Y.S. Department, Odisha); Asirbad Behera (Secretary, FAO); Avijit Paul (Joint Secretary, FAO); and Sailendra Kumar Jena (Under Secretary) were present at the event.

The captains of the six participating teams presented the jersey’s of their respective club.

The Odisha Women’s League will be played on a double header basis and all the matches will be played at the Kalinga Stadium and Capital High School Ground in Bhubaneswar.

A total of 30 matches will be played in the League and the champion of the Odisha Women’s League will qualify to participate in the ensuing Indian Women’s League to be conducted by the AIFF later this year.

The upcoming Odisha Women’s League will be conducted by the Football Association of Odisha (FAO) in collaboration with the Sports and Y.S. Department of the Government of Odisha.
