Durand Cup

The 130th edition of India’s oldest football tournament, the Durand Cup, would be played from September 5 – October 3 in and around Kolkata. The Indian Army will continue to organise the world’s third oldest tournament.

A total of 16 teams from across Indian Super League, I-League, Second Division League and Services team would be participating with the teams split into four groups of four teams each.

The Durand Cup is being revived after a years gap as it couldn’t be held due to the Coronavirus pandemic in 2020 and it will continue to be played in Kolkata like 2019, when the tournament had been won by Gokulam Kerala FC by defeating Mohun Bagan AC.
