1Sports roped in as HILQ 2021 broadcasters from October 12 onwards

The Hero I-League Qualifiers 2021, which is currently taking place in Bengaluru, will be broadcast live on the 1Sports TV channel from Tuesday, October 12 onwards.

The tournament that will decide which club gains promotion to the Hero I-League this season, is already being streamed live on the Hero I-League’s Official Facebook page. From October 12 onwards, the matches can also be viewed on the 1Sports Channel.

The Hero I-League Qualifiers 2021 is featuring a total of nine teams, who have been divided into two groups, to be played in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will make it to the Final Round, which will also be played in a round-robin format amongst the four teams, to decide who gains promotion to the coveted Hero I-League.

AIFF Leagues CEO Sunando Dhar said, “We thank 1Sports for telecasting the Hero I-League Qualifiers this season. We have already been producing a high-quality broadcast on the Hero I-League’s Facebook page, which, I am sure, the fans will also be able to enjoy on television now.”
