Odisha kick off Santosh Trophy campaign with a 5-0 win

The Odisa Men’s State Team kicked off their Hero Santosh Trophy 2021/22 campaign with an impressive 5-0 victory in the opening game of the prestigous tournament on Wednesday, December 1.

Chandra Muduli (7′, 71′), Sk. Farid (37′), Rudra Prasad Pradhan (56′) and Karthik Hantal (85′) scored the goals for the hosts at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.

Odisha’s Chandra Muduli was awarded the Men of the Match award including a cheque of Rs. 5,000 which he received from Mr. Bijay Das (Vice President, Football Association of Odisha).

The Hero Santosh Trophy opening ceremony was held before the game in the presence of Shri R. Vineel Krishna I.A.S (Commissioner cum Secretary Sports & Y.S. Dept. Govt. of Odisha) and Shri Asirbad Behera (Hony. Secretary, FAO).
