Kreil cites various reason for her move to FSV Gütersloh: “There are several reason. On the one hand my private circumstances have changed, which helped to move to the East Westphalia region. Here, I fondly hope to get the perfect opportunity to blend my passion for football with my degree course and my private life. Furthermore, I already know two players players who had only good things to tell about the club. In addition to it, I had great conversations with the coaching staff and various other club officials which gave me the final conviction to sign for FSV Gütersloh 2009.”

“My goal for the new season is to win as many matches as possible with the team and to finish the league in the top third of the final standings,” Kreil looks ahead to the upcoming season. “I also would like to contribute my experience of playing three years in the FLYERALARM Women’s Bundesliga and do my bit for success. But first, I look forward to get to know the girls.”

“Leonie Kreil is an experienced player despite her young age. She has played many matches in the FLYERALARM Women’s Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal.
