Indian senior national team wins practice match

The India senior national team defeated Western Command in a practice match played at the Dr. Ambedkar Stadium, Delhi today. The Indian team won the match 6-2.

Star striker Sunil Chhetri scored a hat-trick, while Sushil Kumar Singh, Anil Kumar and Rakesh Masih were the other scorers. Western Command lead by captain Nitin Pant reduced the margin through Aditya Singh and Raju Chhetri.

Sunil Chhetri fired three quick goals for Armando Colcaco’s side, before Western Command pulled one back through Aditya Singh. Sushil Kumar Singh added another one for the Indian team to make it 4-1 at half-time.

The Indian team added two more goals through Anill Kumar and Rakesh Masih in the second half.
