Germany has arrived in Duesseldorf

The German women’s national team has left Frankfurt, where they registered their second Group A win against Nigeria. The players and officials traveled to their new base camp in Duesseldorf in an Intercity Express (ICE) train earlier today.

The team had a final lunch in Frankfurt, before they took the train for a one and a half hour journey to Duesseldorf via Cologne. The players and officials used the time to relax and to distract a little bit.

The Germans will be staying at the Hilton Hotel and coach Silvia Neid will be using the coming days to prepare her team for the last group match against France in Moenchengladbach on Tuesday.
