Tranmere Rovers accept Bayern offer for Jennings

English League 1 side Tranmere Rovers have accepted an offer by German giants FC Bayern Munich for talented youngster Dale Jennings.

The 18-year-old striker has been granted permission to discuss personal terms with the Bundesliga side.

“Bayern have made us a very good offer for Dale and we don’t want to stand in his way of making this incredible move,” Rovers manager Les Parry said in an official release by the club.

“When a club with the size and history of Bayern come in for you it’s the opportunity of a lifetime and I wish Dale all the best should the transfer happen,” he added.

Jennigs is a product of the Liverpool FC Academy and joined the Rovers in 2008. He made his debut on September 18, 2010 in Tranmere’s 1–1 draw against Charlton Athletic, coming on as a second half substitute.

Jennings has arrived in Munich for a medical according to English media and could reach an agreement with the four-times European Champions shortly.
