Women’s Int’l Friendly: Bahrain 1-3 India

The Indian women’s national team has won their third international away match against Bahrain today.

The Indian team won the match 3-1 at the Al Ahli Club Stadium, Mahooz (Bahrain).

Kamala Devi (25th minute), Pinky Bompal Magar (28th minute) and Parmashori Devi (42nd minute) scored the goals for the Indian team.

Coach Chief Coach Mohammad Shahid Jabbar sounded ecstatic on the victory. “The victory proves our girls are not lagging behind. We had an eventful camp in Lucknow and the results are showing.”

Skipper Sasmita Malik declared, “It feels great when you win an International Series. The team spirit was high all throughout and facilitated our victory. We capitalised on the chances that came our way.”
