India gearing up for the FC Bayern Youth Cup

German Bundesliga giants FC Bayern Munich will be hosting a five-a-side youth tournament named “FC Bayern Youth Cup India”. The two day programme will take place at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 15 and 16.

The tournament is part of Bayern Munich’s global talent scouting programme called “FC Bayern Youth Cup”. Youngsters around the globe will take part in the “FC Bayern Youth Cup” with the hope to get selected to represent their country at next year’s “FC Bayern Youth Cup” in Munich. The finals are scheduled to take place in May 2012.

“FC Bayern Youth Cup” is a joint effort between the German club and its sponsors adidas and Audi.

Indian boys born on or between June 1, 1996 and June 1, 1998 are eligible take part in the “FC Bayern Youth Cup India”. The programme is open to all children with no participation and registration fees involved.
