Football’s world-governing body FIFA has announced the ten nominees for the “FIFA Puskás Award” to honour the best goal of the year.
Football fans from across the world will decide which of the ten goals selected by FIFA’s football experts will be the winner of this award. The voting is open on FIFA.com and francefootball.fr until December 5 when the three most voted-for goals will be disclosed during a press conference in Paris.
FIFA.com and francefootball.fr users will be able to vote again for their favourite from the three remaining goals immediately after the announcement. The winner will be revealed at the FIFA Ballon d’Or gala on 9 January 2012.
The FIFA Ballon d’Or gala will take place at the Kongresshaus in Zurich.
