The Indian national team has dropped two spots in the latest FIFA World Ranking. Savio Medeira’s team is now ranked 162nd in the world (-2 to last month) and 29th in Asia (+1 to last month).

The Indian team has won several points courtesy to the two matches against Malaysia (one draw and one win) earlier this month, while other teams were able to clinch more points and to overtake our boys.

India has a total of 119 points and we can expect the team to gain more points in the coming weeks with a friendly match against Zambia and the SAFF Cup 2011 on their hands.

Spain kept their supremacy at the top of the FIFA World Ranking ahead of the Netherlands (2nd) and Germany (3rd). South American representative Uruguay (4th) and England (5h) completes the Top 5.
