Uzbekistan’s Server Djeparov and Japanese Aya Miyama won the AFC Player of the Year awards in men’s and women’s categories respectively.
Asian football’s highest individual accolade – the Diamond of Asia – has been awarded to former AFC President and current Sultan of Pahang, His Majesty Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Ibni Sultan Abu Bakar Riayatuddin Al Muadzam Shah.
