The Goa XI team has lost their match against the Zambian national team earlier today. The Armando Colaco coached team went down to the visitors 1-4 at the Nehru Stadium, Fatorda.

Colaco’s team managed to keep a clean sheet at the breather, but Zambia showed their class in the second half of the proceedings.

Goa XI took the lead against the visitors through a Joy Ferrao goal. Zambia levelled the score 15 minutes later, when Ronald Kampamba found the back of the net.

Evans Kangwa put the visitors in front, before Kampamba got his second goal of the day to make it 3-1 for the Africans.

Chisamba Lungu, who plays for Russian club Ural Sverdlovsk Oblast, scored the last goal of the match for Herve Renard’s team to seal the victory against the hosts.

Zambia will now face the Indian national team in an international FIFA match at the same venue on November 29.
