The Indian national team has suffered a heavy loss against Zambia in an international friendly match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda.

The Indian team led by midfielder Steven Dias conceeded the first goal in the 15th minute, when Jimmy Chisenga found the back of the net for Zambia.

Joseph Sitali doubled the lead, while Bruce Musakanya scored a hat trick to make it 5-0 in favour of the visitors, who are ranked 79th in the FIFA World Ranking.
