Savio Medeira: The performance was frustrating

Indian national team coach Savio Medeira faced the media in a post-match press conference after the DPR Korea game.

“I am suprised the way how my boys played in the competition. Surely, the performance shown by the boys was frustrating,” Savio told.

“We had performed a solid game in the SAFF Championship held last year. But I couln’t see the same spirit from the boys for this championship,” Savio continued.

“The team lacked killer instinct. I am suprised to see the boys going down to this level,” a disappointed Savio stated.

Asked by a colleague about rumours of disharmony in the team, Savio told: “I don’t see any problem in my team!”
