India U16 drawn into Group D

The Indian U16 national team has been drawn into Group D of the 2012 Dr Pepper Dallas Cup XXXIII.

The Dallas Cup is an international football tournament for invited youth teams, held annually in Dallas, Texas (USA). The Indian U15 national team took part in last year’s edition and the boys are looking forward to gain more exposure at the U16 level.

The Indian juniors will face the Houston Dynamo U15 Pre Academy, West Coast FC and Dallas Texans White West in the prestigious youth competition.

India is scheduled to kick-off its campaign against Dallas Texans White West on April 1.

The Dallas Cup has seen participants like David Beckham (England), Raúl González Blanco (Spain), Rafael Márquez (Mexico), Maicon (Brazil) and Wayne Rooney (England) amongst many other international stars in its long history.
